Fillmore Glen Middle GorgeWhat I'm terming the "Middle Gorge" is actually the the bulk of the gorge trail, from the top of the lower falls to the dam. There are a couple of nice waterfalls, but otherwise there's not a whole lot to see, except a great many small, numbered wooden footbridges crossing and recrossing the stream. The last of the bridges, bridge 9, was not accessible due to water damage to the trail leading to it.In general, the gorge becomes more gorge-like with steep rock walls and such as you move upstream. | ||
