Upper Enfield Gorge - Alcove & Small Falls
After the 3rd footbridge, and a short stretch of relatively unremarkable creek, the water tumbles over some small falls into an alcove-like area sometimes known as the "Devil's Kitchen". The water can become pretty turbulent, especially when the creek is running high, because it has to make a sharp right turn before continuing on to spill over into Lucifer Falls.Here are various views of, and from within, the alcove.
