The image above shows a rock cairn near the lower end of the gorge trail. It's about 18 inches high and on a large expanse of flattish rock that's free of water unless the creek in running high. It's one of those cairns that people come along and make, change or destroy as whimsy dictates. Since the Cascadilla Gorge is a well-used student thoroughfare, you never know what you're going to find.
