TI-83 Plus Calculator Programs

NOTE: You'll need to have the TI-GRAPH LINK hardware and software to transfer these programs to your calculator.

LISTCOMP: [TI-83 Plus Basic, 2.5 KB zipfile, download only] A program for quickly finding linear and non-linear regression equations (and related data) for pairs of associated data lists. You may reference any two lists already on your calculator and choose from nine different regression models to find and graph the one that best fits your data. Finding these data and equations are standard features of the TI-83 Plus calculator. ListComp merely brings them all together in a fast, convenient format.

Utilities

 CONVERT: [Visual Basic 3.0, 5 KB zipfile, download only] A small Windows utility for converting numbers to and from decimal, hexadecimal, octal and binary formats. You'll need a copy of vbrun300.dll in your \windows\system\ directory in order to use it. CONVERT: [C, 21 KB zipfile, download only] Same as above except it's a DOS program written in C and doesn't require vbrun300.dll to run.

SLIDE VIEWER: [JavaScript] Displays photo "slides" which launch larger images when clicked.

STYLESHEET SWITCHER: [JavaScript] Dynamically select from multiple styles and watch the document change instantly.

ORACLE-B: [JavaScript] An oracle.

COLOR MANAGER: [JavaScript, use online or download (3 KB zipfile)] Select colors for web page text, links and backgrounds.

COMPOUND INTEREST CALCULATOR: [JavaScript]Calculates yield compounded annually, quarterly, monthy and daily.


Games

WORDGAME: [Visual Basic 3.0, 55 KB self-extracting zipfile, download only] A small guess-the-secret-word sort of game. One or two people can play. You'll need a copy of vbrun300.dll in your \windows\system\ directory in order to use it. YAHTZEE: [C++, 93 KB self-extracting zipfile, download only] A DOS version of the game of Yahtzee. Keeps a record of high scores. 1 - 6 players. VGA or BW. (No mouse functionality.)

FGODMOM: [Not written by me] John Blackwell's popular DOS game from the early 90's, plus new levels and tips for play.
