PALETTE ANIMATIONS

Fractal Zoom Movies achieve an animation effect by having a different image for each frame. Palette Animations change only the color palettes, while the images themselves remain the same. The effect is very different. The animations in this section are much smaller in size than the zooms (though they don't have to be) and so don't take nearly as long to load. The file size of the one on this page is only 14KB. To save a palette animation, right-click on it after it's fully downloaded and follow the directions for saving the picture that appear on the resulting pop-up menu.
